POXOLON 2 Epoxy Pool Coating for Plaster, Concrete and Metal Surfaces - Bikini Blue 1 Gal.

POXOLON 2 is a high gloss epoxy pool coating that is easy to apply and should yield up to five years of service. This finish is easy to clean as is the case with all epoxy pool coatings. You may use POXOLON 2 on most conventional pool surfaces with excellent results.

Uncoated pool surfaces will require a prime coat to insure good adhesion. Use with primer on concrete, plaster, fiberglass and metal pools. Recommended for use by pool service companies and the do it yourself pool owner.

Two finish coats of POXOLON 2 are required in all cases. POXOLON 2 may be applied by either airless sprayer or roller.
Coverage: Approximately 225 - 250 square feet per gallon.


The POXOLON 2 System

If applying POXOLON 2 to a bare surface, be sure to use the appropriate primer, depending on the surface. When recoating old epoxy, make certain that all glossy surfaces of the old epoxy are dulled down by light sanding. Most important! Prior to the application of any coating follow the three step cleaning process. Use a 9" roller cover with a solvent resistant core. While coating, use firm even strokes with plenty of product in the roller to "squeeze" the coating into the porous surface. This will insure good adhesion. Apply the second coat of POXOLON 2 when the surface is dry enough to walk on without marring the finish. You will get more coverage out of the second coat and it will be quicker to apply. Allow the second coat to cure as recommended on the curing schedule below before filling your pool with water.
